Jenny’s joy at 107th bash after Covid
ONE of Britain’s oldest women has celebrated her 107th birthday after beating coronavirus.
Jenny Butler celebrated her big day with son Ray, 85, and enjoyed a special treat at her care home.
Staff made it a day to remember, with balloons, a cake and presents including flowers, toiletries, socks and a blanket.
A spokeswoman said: “Jenny is a wonderful woman with a great sense of humour.
“She is also partial to a glass of cherry brandy.
“She was overwhelmed with the amount of presents and very thankful to everyone for making her birthday special.”
Jenny has lived at the Avondene care home, in Christchurch, Dorset, for two years.
