Reynolds top of Hollywood sign suspects
FILM star Ryan Reynolds is believed to be behind a huge Hollywood-style sign overlooking Wrexham.
White letters spelling out the town’s name were put on top of a slag heap and is the latest touch of movie glitz in North Wales.
The move follows the town’s links with Reynolds and fellow actor Rob McElhenney after they bought Wrexham AFC.
The sign was spotted after the club beat Curzon Ashton in a friendly match.
Locals are baffled but they suspect Reynolds, who treated frontline and charity staff to a screening of his latest film Free Guy, is responsible.
Dog walker Pete Leyshon said: “This has got to be Ryan Reynolds doing this – who else would do it? It’s fantastic.”
