Compensation would secure our son’s future
Sharon Aldcroft, 44, lives in Manchester with husband Lee and son Jake, 20 I took Epilim for seven years before falling pregnant. Nobody warned me it was dangerous for babies.
Jake had serious physical problems, needing spinal surgery straight after birth. He also has global development delay, hydrocephalus and other problems. He was diagnosed with FVS at one year old. We care for him at home.
Compensation would secure his longterm future. After admitting women shouldn’t have been prescribed this medication, why won’t the Government compensate us? They did it for Thalidomide families, why not us?
