MY AMAZING ARTWORK
You can take the boy out of London, but you can’t take the city out of the boy. Which may be why ex-Londoner Ricky Clark moved to the countryside but painted this cracking portrait of East End actor Ray Winstone.
The 85-year-old former lorry driver, who now lives in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, writes: “I retired 24 years ago and moved from Tottenham in North London to the beautiful tranquil countryside in Shropshire.
“This has given me the space and time to paint, and I completed this painting of Ray Winstone over lockdown.”
