THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

I found this stone saying: “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again,” on Day One of the walk, when we got lost, the rain lashed down and we got so thoroughly soaked, even my undercrackers had to be wrung out.

Then I spotted this poem: “I’m working on me, It’s a project,” on Day Seven, after I’d just had a row with my friend Fi and I was feeling like an emotional wreck.

Anyway, they both helped, so thank you to the Wall gnomes who left them.
