I’m a Celeb... to get MORE gross, vicious &aggressive

WARNS EX CONTESTANT VERNON

-

This year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will be more gross, more vicious and more aggressive – with the stars cast out into the Welsh wilderness.

Bring on the fermented sheep’s brain…

Contestants will be in for a shock, warns last year’s runner-up Vernon Kay, after the celebs in his series completed tasks in relative comfort.

Last year’s trials took place in a marquee at Gwrych Castle in North Wales to help with coronavirus safety measures.

But Vernon hears producers have decided the new lighter restrictions mean this year’s stars can spend more time in the wild like they would in the warmer climate of Australia.

He says: “I’ve heard that it’s going to be more vicious, it’s going to be on a bigger scale and they’re going to be doing lots more activities. I’ve heard this year’s trials are going to be out and about – more of the countryside.”

Last year was filmed in between two winter lockdowns, when the group bonded – but this year producers hope to have more freedom to be crueller to the stars.

Vernon adds: “We all got on – everybody says the tone was perfect. I think that’s a reflection of where we were as a nation, and I think this one will be a reflection of where we are this time.

“We’re back, and it’s going to be more gross and more aggressive.”

Blissful, gross normality.

DAYS after Holly Willoughby set up her lunar lifestyle website, Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow seems to be giving her company a plug.

Gwyneth posed naked in a bath in the moonlight and captioned the image on Instagram with a half moon emoji to celebrate her 49th birthday on Monday.

It comes a week after This Morning’s Holly, above, launched her website Wylde Moon – amid comparisons to Goop – inspired by all things lunar, where she revealed she bathes in moonbeams. Will one of the sites eclipse the other?
