Keir backs idea of female 007
LABOUR leader Keir Starmer has said 007 should be played by a woman in the next James Bond film.
He told ITV’s Good Morning Britain: “I do think it’s time for a female Bond.”
But the dad of two said he was unlikely to be rushing out to see the latest film No
Time To Die this weekend as he would be spending time with his family after the party’s Brighton conference.
Bond producer Barbara Broccoli has dismissed the idea of a female 007, saying: “I don’t think we have to take a male character and have a woman portray him.”
