Poohsticks Bridge sale
THE bridge that inspired one of Winnie the Pooh’s favourite pastimes could fetch £60,000 at auction.
The Poohsticks Bridge, where author AA Milne invented the famous game with his son Christopher Robin, was taken apart and replaced in 1999.
Now the original “piece of literary history”, built in 1907 in Ashdown Forest in East Sussex, has been painstakingly restored.
It will be sold by Summers Place, with sealed bids before October 6.
