THIS snap of the aurora lights really is out of this world.

French astronaut Thomas Pesquet, who is currently aboard the Internatio­nal Space Station, captured the dazzling shot 250 miles above Earth on August 20.

He said: “This one is special as it is so bright. It is the full moon lighting up the shadow side of Earth.”
