SNOW ON WAY.. AND IT’S ONLY OCTOBRR
BY
WEATHER experts warn we could be in for snow in October.
Temperatures are expected to plummet, bringing frosty conditions to parts of the UK.
And snow has already been spotted in parts of Scotland.
Wind and rain is on the way first as a cold front moves in but the Met
Office warned the mercury could plunge by 10C in Yorkshire. Senior meteorologist Greg Dewhurst told the Mirror: “As we enter October it will get colder. “Although snow is not forecast imminently, there is a real chance in the weeks ahead. “It is not uncommon at this time of the year.” On ITV’s This
Morning, weather expert Dave King said it will be bitterly cold and frosty.
He warned: “That’s bad news for people with gas and electric because your bills are going through the roof.”
It comes as Brits will be lashed by more torrential downpours and also 70mph winds this weekend as Atlantic weather systems sweep in.
