Tributes paid to mum and kids killed at a sleepover
THE families of an “amazing” mum, her two children and their friend who were all killed during a violent attack say they have “been left broken” .
Terri Harris, 35, her daughter Lacey Bennett, 11, son John Bennett, 13, and Lacey’s friend Connie Gent, also 11, were found dead on September 19.
Jason Bennett, Lacey and John’s father, said: “My son John was loving, fiery, funny and passionate with the most beautiful caring heart. Lacey was my TikTok queen, creating dance after dance.”

His partner Caroline said: “I have been left broken. I am devastated.”
Kerry Shelton, Connie’s mum, said: “Connie had an amazing imagination.”
Terri’s parents, Angela Smith and Lawrence Harris, added: “She was an amazing mum. Terri would put herself out not just for her family and friends but anyone who needed help.”
Damien Bendall, 31, is charged with four counts of murder over the deaths in Killamarsh, Derbyshire.
He is due at Derby crown court next month.
