@mrdanwalker - The statement from Sarah Everard’s mum is one of the most gut-wrenchingly awful things I have ever read. I pray that her family will find a path through the unimaginable heartbreak.

Proposals to offer a second Covid jab to UK teenagers should be accepted, as this is what is being done in most of Europe (Mirror, September 30). There’s really no excuse to not go ahead with such a measure, especially if we are determined to avoid another lockdown over Christmas or unsustainable pressure on the NHS.
