MY BEAUTIFUL BACKYARD

Gardens have become outside rooms during the past year as we’ve had to take our social life into the fresh air. But Judith and Geoff Harding have always loved spending time with their family among the pink and white anemones in their pretty garden in Beaufort, Blaenau Gwent.

The couple, who are in their early 60s, say: “Our garden is a joint effort and we love sitting on the decking with our family and grandchildren around us.

“Weather permitting, the children’s paddling pool comes out and the fun begins.”

Back in July, Judith and Geoff celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary, and they have two married sons and four beautiful grandchildren.

They write: “As with all gardens, it is never-ending work, but we love being in it, seeing the beauty of the flowers and the simple pleasures they bring to our family.”
