WARWICK CLOSE TO DOUBLE TOP
WARWICKSHIRE are on the verge of securing a second trophy inside a week.
Bad light halted their charge on the third day of the Bob Willis Trophy at Lord’s with Lancashire 171-6 in their second innings, still 269 runs adrift. Warwickshire were dismissed for 518 with captain Will Rhodes (left) finally out for 156.
Rhodes lifted the County Championship trophy just seven days ago.
Paceman Liam Norwell said: “We’ve just got to keep putting in the hard yards and hope the weather allows us to take four more wickets.”
