Cornet’s tuning up for return

MAXWEL CORNET handed struggling Burnley a boost after escaping a long lay-off with his hamstring injury.

Burnley feared the worst when their £12.9million signing (above) picked up the problem on his first Premier League start against Leicester. But it appears the injury is now not as serious as first thought.

Clarets boss Sean Dyche said: “It’s a better version than we first thought although it’s probably too quick a turnaround for the weekend [against bottom club Norwich].”
