Group G Celtic B Leverkusen 4 CELTIC were condemned to another Europa League defeat against Bayer Leverkusen on a frustating night for boss Ange Postecoglou.

His team lost 4-3 at Real Betis last time out – and more poor defending saw them concede four more to slip up again in Group G. This time it was the Germans who exposed the home side’s soft centre via Piero Hincapie, Florian Wirtz (above) and a penalty from Lucas Alario all before the hour mark. Amine Adli scored late on to only add to Celtic’s woes.

Celtic’s Kyogo Furuhashi, Liel Abada and Jota missed chances.
