Kelly has the Power
KELLY HOGARTH has earned a reputation as being one of the best and most influential marketing, media and talent advisers in football.
She helped Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford (right) with his powerful #endchildfoodpoverty campaign and is working with Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling.
Hogarth recently left Roc Nation to set up her own company, Thelma Gwen. She helped Rashford’s partnership with Macmillan Children’s Books and their best seller ‘You Are A Champion’ hit No.1 in the children’s sales chart.
They made 390,000 copies available for distribution by the National Lottery and Magic Breakfast. Small wonder she was named on PR Week’s UK Power Book.
OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER has had his tactical knowledge put under the UEFA microscope.
UEFA technical observer Frans Hoek praised Unai Emery for his use of six substitutes in last season’s Europa League final, where his Villarreal side beat Manchester United in a shootout. Solskjaer (right) did not make one change in 90 minutes.
“The final was an excellent example of how substitutes were able to impact on games,” Hoek reported.
