GYPSY KING COULD FIGHT BACK IN UK NEXT YEAR

- FROM BACK PAGE

more than anything, for the British fans and everything.

“Fury is the best heavyweight of his generation and up there with all of them. Look at his heart to keep getting up off the floor. That was the best heavyweight fight I’ve seen.

“He would be a stand-out performer in any era. Tyson sells out any stadium in Britain – easy, big time. The fans will come out for him.

“Everything is possible and we will just sit down and look at how we do everything.

“He deserves that hero’s homecoming now.”

That could be an all-British clash against Dillian Whyte, who faces Swede and former Fury opponent Otto Wallin later this month.

The WBC will give Fury 30 days to negotiate an undisputed fight with WBA, IBF and WBO champion Oleksandr Usyk, but the Ukrainian has to face Anthony Joshua in a rematch.

It means the winner of Whyte (above) and Wallin will get the mandatory position.

Warren said: “They haven’t said anything for sure yet and it will depend when they want it to happen. We need to see what happens with Whyte and Wallin first because that is not an easy fight.”

Warren also believes Joshua will be glad he didn’t have to get in the ring with Fury. He added: “If Joshua watched that, it will have frightened the life out of him.”

A return to the UK would end a five-fight run in the US and four-year spell boxing outside of the country for Fury, who spent last night partying at Hakkasan Nightclub in the MGM Grand.

He plans to jet home from Las Vegas tomorrow and insists an undisputed clash with Usyk is not a priority.

Fury, 33, said: “Before I start thinking about fighting other men, I’m going to bask in this victory. This was one of my greatest wins and I got off the floor to do it.”
