FIN EYES MAIDEN FLIGHT AT SWANS
Kick off 7.45pm
Swansea v Luton

FINLEY BURNS was once the most expensive 13-year-old in British football – and five years on he is hoping to make his league debut.
Burns (above) became Swansea’s latest loan recruit when he left Manchester City on Friday to see out the season in the Championship.
Now 18, his only senior appearance came in a 6-1 Carabao Cup win for Man City earlier this term when he lined-up alongside the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling, Ferran Torres, Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez.
He signed for City from Southend as a 13-year-old for £175,000 in January 2017 – a record fee for a player of that age. And he has gone on to win England honours at Under-15, U16 and U17 levels.
Burns said: “I’m just looking forward to learning under Russell Martin and progressing. I’ve been prepared the best I could have been because of my work with Pep Guardiola and the youth coaches at Man City.
“The style of play is very similar at Swansea, so I feel I will be ready for what is required of me. I’ve matured a lot since I was 13.”
Boss Martin brought his high-press game with him to Swansea from MK Dons and is looking for more technically-minded players.
