After three lockdowns, it was the prospect

of a round of media calls that finally prompted George Ezra to tackle some DIY. The singer, who returned with new single Anyone For You this week, quickly spruced up his living room to ensure his Zoom background was up to scratch.

“I painted the wall,” he tells Absolute Radio. “Got some old wine boxes from the local wine shop, stuck them on the wall and put some knickknacks on.”

He has plenty of time for more extravagant renovations before new album, Gold Rush Kid, comes out in June.
