PHILLIP Schofield says he is “cutting it fine” to host Dancing On Ice on Sunday after contracting Covid.

The co-presenter revealed he would be isolating and had to stay off ITV’s This Morning.

He shared an online snap of his lateral flow test, adding: “Well b ****** s!! Currently just a slightly sore throat.”

Speaking on a video link on This Morning, the 59-year-old said: “We’re a little bit worried about Dancing On Ice because I’m cutting it a bit fine for that.”

Phillip presents the ITV show with Holly Willoughby.

He announced his positive test on Monday and may have to isolate for 10 days.

But that could be halved if he tests negative on days five and six. Phillip said on ITV he is feeling OK now and only has a slight temperature.

He has been co-presenting This Morning with Rochelle Humes for the last few weeks as Holly has been filming BBC show Superstar Survival.

The Saturdays singer was joined by Alison Hammond, who co-hosts the show on Fridays with Dermot O’Leary.

Rochelle joked she just thought Phillip did not want to work with her any more.

Happy Mondays star Bez was forced to miss Dancing On Ice recently after getting Covid.

TV presenter Ria Hebden became the second hopeful to be eliminated on Sunday after a skate-off with former S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens.
