Daughter can still ‘feel and see’ Capt Tom
CAPTAIN Sir Tom Moore’s daughter has said she can still “see and feel” her dad a year after his death.
He inspired hope during the first lockdown, raising £38.9m for the NHS by walking 100 laps of his garden before he hit 100.
In June, there will be a Captain Tom Day, which will empower older people, after his death on February 2 last year with Covid.
Hannah Ingram-Moore said: “Because he became the world’s grandfather, I can continue to see and feel him in everything. “That has been magical. “There’s not a day that goes by where I don’t think about and miss him.”
Grandson Benjie, 18, said: “I always remember him saying if you can make someone smile each day you’ve left a good mark.”
