Horse punch fan is banned
A FOOTBALL fan who punched a police horse has been banned from attending games for three years.
Peter Mincher, 43, hit the horse in the head at last June’s National League play-off final between Hartlepool and Torquay at Bristol City’s ground.
Mincher, of Hartlepool, was convicted of causing suffering to a protected animal and must also pay £1,215 in fines and costs.
Avon and Somerset Police said: “A good result at Bristol magistrates!”
