Star is a wine connoisseur
WE heard it on the grapevine... that Posh Spice is a Riesling star in wine tasting.
David Beckham, 46, has told how he and wife Victoria, 47, started visiting Napa Valley vineyard owners after moving to LA.
He told the River Cafe Table 4 podcast: “There’s nothing better than sitting at a table with someone who knows what they are talking about, what they’re drinking, what they’re smelling. “Annoyingly, Victoria is very good at that.”
The Man Utd star admitted he used to order expensive wine to impress Posh when they were dating in the 1990s. He said: “We used to order the most expensive wine. I want to say it was a Latour.
“We had no idea what we were drinking.”
Victoria may now have a taste for fine wine, but she is less adventurous with food. He said: “Unfortunately, I’m married to someone who’s eaten the same thing for 25 years – grilled fish and steamed vegetables.
