Rambo’s pledge to Rangers

AARON RAMSEY is desperate to reignite his stalling career with Scottish champions Rangers.

Wales star Rambo sealed a surprise deadline-day loan switch to Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s Gers from Juventus until the end of the season.

The 31-year-old midfielder (above) has made just five appearances in all competitions this season for the Serie A side. He struggled with injuries after arriving in Italy from Arsenal and is also not part of coach Massimiliano Allegri’s long-term plans.

“There’s been a few hiccups, but that’s the past now,” Ramsey said.

“I’m only looking forward to this challenge and hopefully I can get back to match fitness as quickly as possible and I can show what I’m capable of doing again.”
