Dele, 25, added: “I’ve had a few good conversations with Frank Lampard already and he’s a player I’ve admired watching his whole career.
“To get the opportunity to work with him now is very exciting and I’m sure we’re going to do great things together.”
Everton have signed Dele on a free transfer and will be liable to pay £10million when he’s made 20 appearances – but further down the line he could cost more than £30m.
Dele played his best football at Spurs under Mauricio Pochettino and his staff.
And he said: “Their trust and guidance early in my career gave me the platform to show what I can do.”
