Addiction aid cut for young

CUTS to kids’ addiction services are blighting lives, a top psychiatrist says.

The Royal College of Psychiatrists found a 41% real-terms cut to youth addiction cash since 2014.

The College’s Dr Emily Finch said: “Children... are having their lives blighted by drug and alcohol use.

“Addiction is a treatable health condition.”
