No need for another Boris
While I detest Boris Johnson and all he stands for, we should be careful in what we wish for.
If he’s ousted from No10 he will likely be replaced by multi-millionaire Rishi Sunak who will fill his Cabinet with wealthy friends and cronies, thus ensuring the rich will still not pay their fair share of taxes and the queues for the foodbanks will continue to grow.
Also, some voters like Sunak for some reason, so the Tories could start to claw back their supporters.
It’s far better for Boris to carry on self-destructing and Labour to continue gaining support for a future election. Terry Wright, Derby
Further to the letters on the new Highway Code (Your Voice, Feb 1), my problem is cyclists on footpaths with no lights and no bell abusing me for walking my dog.
Riders don’t need a licence or insurance and many cyclists go without lights or hi-vis gear. It’s all going to end in tears.
