NOW HARRY IS GAME
Aides plan for him to join Jubilee Security deal may be on the cards
PRINCE Harry’s aides are making plans for him to be by the Queen’s side at her Platinum Jubilee celebrations, it can be revealed.
Despite the Duke of Sussex, 37, publicly saying he has not decided whether to attend, his closest advisers believe he will want to grant his grandmother’s wish for him to join his family this summer.
In his High Court battle with the Government over the
Home Office decision to take away his police protection, his lawyers claim his family are “unable to return to his home” because it is too dangerous.
But sources close to the Sussex camp confirm he wants to attend the celebrations and for his son Archie, two, and 10-month-old daughter Lili to meet his grandmother.
One source said: “Harry is certainly in favour of going, so naturally plans are being put in place for him to make the trip should he want to confirm.
“There’s the issue of security and the ongoing court case which needs to be sorted out.
“Previously it was a red line for Harry but there might be a resolution in the offing. Everything will hinge on that, but Harry loves seeing his grandmother and wants to spend time with her and his family.”
The Mirror understands a resolution between Harry and the Met Police could be on the cards, where he would be offered taxpayer-funded protection if attending public family events. The Jubilee celebrations could be covered by such an arrangement.
The insider added: “Harry loved seeing his grandmother again and he is acutely aware of her advancing years.
“He is desperate for Lili to meet her great-grandmother and for Archie to see her again

now he is likely to enjoy and remember the event.”
Harry and wife Meghan, 40, have been invited to appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony during the fourday Jubilee celebration from June 2 to 5. But their attendance would cause a considerable headache for Buckingham Palace staff amid a series of rifts that
STALLING have intensified since Harry’s latest US TV interview.
In it he made the astonishing claim that his visit to the Queen last week, before he went to the Netherlands to host the Invictus Games, was to ensure she is “protected” and has “the right people around her”. Brother Prince William did not comment yesterday after a broadcaster called out as he left a charity HQ in London with wife Kate: “Does the Queen need protecting?”
The Mirror can further reveal Harry has not spoken to dad Prince
Charles since their “cordial but slightly awkward” 15-minute talk last week. Sources close to Charles say he is “at a loss” to explain Harry’s behaviour.
In the US TV interview Harry confirmed the Mirror’s report that he wants his kids to meet the Queen and would try to organise a reunion soon.
Asked by Today show interviewer Hoda Kotb if he will make the Jubilee celebrations, he said: “[I’m] trying to make it possible that I can get my kids to meet her.”
