Ed’s grateful 2step in Kyiv for video hit
ED Sheeran said he was grateful to have filmed his latest video in Kyiv before the war and “devastating acts of violence” began.
The singer, 31, used the Ukrainian capital as the backdrop for 2step.
He recalled: “It was my first time visiting the country and I felt so welcomed during my stay there – everyone from the production crew to the many people I met across my days off.
“Ukraine is a proud and resilient country, and I’m grateful to have had the chance to film there.”
The video’s Kyiv production company Radioaktive Film said it “really reminds us of the best of times”.
Ed is donating royalties from its YouTube streams to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
