Pele feeling petter after hospital stay

-

BRAZIL legend Pele strokes his beloved dog alongside wife Márcia after being discharged from hospital following more cancer treatment.

The three-time World Cup winner, 81, posted the picture on Instagram after heading home.

He wrote: “The peace of being next to my dear wife, Márcia, and our inseparable companion, Cacau.

“Treatment is difficult, but feeling their love is the best medicine. Home sweet home.” Pele spent four days in Sao Paulo’s Albert Einstein hospital after being admitted for follow-up treatment for a colon tumour.

The star had surgery in September and has been in and out of hospital on a regular basis since.

Doctors said the former footballer was now in a “good and stable clinical condition”.
