Crazed knife yob sat on by pensioners
And
TWO pensioners will receive bravery awards after preventing a murder.
Thuan Dinh, 53, tried to strangle and stab ex-wife Lien, 50, at nail bar VCC Boutique in Tonbridge, Kent, where she worked.
He had been issued with a restraining order the day before the attack.
Judge Philip St JohnStevens praised brave Katherine Jordan, 65, and Roger Trask, 75, saying the pair had “undoubtedly saved her life”.
They wrestled Dinh away, allowing Lien to escape, before sitting on him until officers arrived.
Both will receive a High Sheriff Award for Bravery.
Dinh was jailed for 28 years for attempted murder at Maidstone crown court.
