It was a certainly a week for reunions. Corrie’s Ken Barlow with first wife Valerie, aka 90th birthday boy Bill Roache and Anne Reid.

Phillip Schofield with Going Live co-host Sarah Greene.

And the entire Tiswas cast with Spit the Dog.

Clearly Spit has aged the best, despite having had the ruff-est time. It’s believed he’s spent the past few years either living like a hermit, locked away alone (in a cupboard), or worse, stuck in a commune with fellow washed-up entertainers (a larger cupboard with Lamb

Chop, Emu and Orville). It’s sad, really. Their star – and fur – has faded. But, as Spit showed this week, they just need a helping hand to get back on their feet.
