Merseyside and London are leading the way for disabled visitors hoping to enjoy UK tourist attractions.
A Middletons Mobility study reveals the two cities have six of the top 10 most accessible sites in the country, with the Museum of Liverpool taking the top spot and the British Library second.
Middletons evaluated factors such as number of ramps and lifts, disabled toilets, parking spaces and concessions for people with disabilities and their carers. Researchers also found up to 20% of attractions have poor accessibility, with three-quarters of respondents critical and 73% reporting confusing and inaccurate website information.
