FORSHAW A WHITES OFF

- BY DAVID ANDERSON

ADAM FORSHAW has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a fractured knee cap but Kalvin Phillips has been cleared to make his first Leeds’ start since December 5.

Boss Jesse Marsch has carefully integrated Phillips back into the team, bringing him on in Leeds’ last two games, as he builds up fitness after a hamstring operation in December. He says the England midfielder is ready to start at Crystal Palace on Monday.

“It’s obviously never good to lose an important player like Adam (above), but we have a bit of luck in that we can bring Kalvin into the mix,” said Marsch.
