Skull found in village pond

A HUMAN skull has been found in a duck pond in an isolated village.

Police are trying to establish a link with anyone on the missing person register after the discovery on farmland at Fulstow, near Louth, Lincs.

They were alerted by a member of the public who made the discovery.

A woman who lives in the village, which is surrounded by marshes, said: “The police were here at first light. It was about 4am. It is a shock.”
