Thousands of rich Russians flee country
AROUND 15,000 Russian millionaires are trying to leave their home country due to the Ukraine war, the MoD has said.
Migration studies hint they have applied for travel visas to avoid sanctions and a crashing economy.
It comes as Ukraine probes more than 13,000 war crimes claims.
As international experts visited the country, lawyer Wayne Jordash linked the atrocities to Vladimir Putin and said the inquiries would “go to the top” of Russia’s leadership.
Pressure is mounting on Mr Putin’s inner-circle.
The UK has recently beefed up sanctions against Russia’s Children’s Rights Commissioner Maria Lvova-Belova over forced adoptions of Ukrainian children.
