Skyscanner’s top trending destinations for the peak season make interesting reading with vibrant and foodie favourite Mexico City up by 148 places in its hotlist to 49th compared to before the pandemic, and Cancun’s beaches leaping 43 spots to 80th.

Brits are also California dreaming with techie heartland San Jose up by 42 to 45th, while closer to home Turkish port Izmir has leaped from 210th to 64th and Croatian capital Zagreb is at No 92, up by 137. skyscanner.net
