EMM ONE TO EAST LONDON

- BY DARREN LEWIS

WEST HAM have made a drive for Watford’s £20million-rated Nigerian international striker Emmanuel Dennis.

The Europa League semi-finalists are looking to strengthen the squad after two impressive full seasons under David Moyes in East London.

Dennis (right) scored 10 goals last season for the relegated Hornets.

Moyes has also been offered the chance to land Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri.

The Hammers saw a £27m bid for him rejected in January 2021, but while Sevilla wanted £40m then they are willing to settle for far less now.

West Ham are also confident of completing a £25m deal for another Moroccan international, defender Nayef Aguerd – despite interest from Newcastle.

And with a permanent deal being sought with Paris Saint-Germain for loan keeper Alphonse Areola, Moyes remains in the thick of the transfer action.
