Zelensky freedom cry
PRESIDENT Volodymyr Zelensky said Glastonbury was the “greatest concentration of freedom” as he addressed the festival by video link from Ukraine.
He said: “The festival resumes this year after a two-year break… we in Ukraine would also like to live the life as we used to and enjoy freedom.
“We cannot do that because the most terrible thing happened – Russia stole our peace.” He finished by saying “Slava Ukraini” (“glory to Ukraine”) which was met with loud cheers and applause over Worthy Farm.
