CALL The Midwife star Jenny Agutter has vowed never to have cosmetic surgery to hold back time.
The actress, who plays Sister Julienne in the BBC drama, is 70 in December.
But she insisted she will not go under the knife to stay young for TV as she is proud of her wrinkles.
She said: “I don’t like the pressure that is put on of youth being beautiful and age not. I think you earn the lines on your face.”
Jenny said she is not concerned about reaching her eighth decade as her career continues to thrive.
She told Candis magazine: “I’m very lucky. I’ve always believed in seizing opportunities and celebrating when good things happen and I hope I can continue to do so.”
