Mum ‘ate her girl’s hamster’
A WOMAN was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty after allegedly eating her daughter’s hamster.
The RSPCA began investigating after a video was posted on Facebook.
It allegedly showed the mother killing the rodent before eating it in exchange for crack cocaine.
Police said a 39-year-old from Grantham, Lincs, was arrested and questioned about alleged animal cruelty before being freed under investigation.
The RSPCA has urged anyone who sees the video to contact social media platforms to make sure it gets taken down.
