Denim cutoffs are a summer staple that never go out of style, as these famous faces show. For actor Kristen Stewart, pictured leaving her hotel in Cannes, a casual denim ensemble provided a relaxed alternative to the glitz and glam we saw at the film festival.

The Twilight star, 32, teamed frayed shorts with a cropped white Chanel T-shirt, chunky boots and round rock chick shades.

Poppy Delevingne, 36, also worked the T-shirt and shorts look while in the South of France. Gold toe-post flat sandals and round Ray-Bans completed the model’s look.

Nicole Scherzinger, meanwhile, glammed up her denim shorts by teaming them with lashings of leopard print.

Photographed at a party in California, the former Pussycat Doll and TV judge, 44, looked wild in supershort cutoffs and an animal-print bodysuit and kimono, which she wore with must-have Western ankle boots.
