BOURNEMOUTH have signed ex-Blackburn midfielder Joe Rothwell for free – six months after having a £3million bid rejected.

Rothwell has agreed a long-term deal with the Cherries. Now boss Scott Parker will turn his attention to £10million-rated Middlesbrough midfielder Marcus Tavernier.
