Kier hard work has paid off

KIERNAN DEWSBURY-HALL has signed a new five-year deal at boyhood club Leicester City.

The academy graduate enjoyed a breakthrough 2021-22 campaign where he claimed the club’s Players’ Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards.

He made 44 appearances having previously been farmed out on loan to Blackpool and Luton. Dewsbury-Hall (above) is now contracted to the Foxes until 2027.

“I’m so proud and I’m really happy,” said the 23-year-old midfielder.

“It’s a great day for myself and my family. Now I’m looking forward to the future. It was a no-brainer really when I sat down and we spoke about the deal. I have got big, big ambitions for the future and I know the club do too.”
