22 pupils die in club riddle

AT least 22 people died in a nightclub yesterday.

Forensic experts are investigating after the victims collapsed while celebrating finishing their exams.

Bodies were found strewn around Enyobeni Tavern, in the South African city of East London.

While one police officer speculated they may have been poisoned, the premier of Eastern Cape province, Oscar Mabuyane, condemned the “unlimited consumption of liquor”.
