Chairboys to expand
WYCOMBE want to redevelop their Adams Park stadium within the next 12 months.
The ambitious League One side currently have a capacity of just 9,600 at their home of 32 years, but want to increase that beyond the 12,000 mark.
The Chairboys missed out on an instant return to the Championship after losing to Sunderland in May’s play-off final.
Wanderers chairman Rob Couhig (above) said: “My vision is a completely renovated 12-13,000-seat stadium with the fans closer to the pitch.
“We want more suites, better access and parking.
“With co-operation from the Government we could do a lot before the 2023/24 season.”
