Cardiff in fast Lane for star

NORTHERN IRELAND star Paddy Lane is attracting interest from Cardiff and Hearts.

The 21-year-old Fleetwood midfielder (above) scored five goals in 39 games to win the League One Young Player of the Season award last term.

He made his Northern Ireland debut in March against Hungary and also featured in their Nations League games against Greece and Cyprus earlier this month.

West Ham sent scouts to watch Lane play for Fleetwood last season.

And interest is now growing stronger in the £1million-rated star from Championship side Cardiff and Scottish top-flight team Hearts.
