AL PECKS A PUNCH

ALISON VAN UYTVANCK has already made history at Wimbledon before facing Emma Raducanu today.

The Belgian has won five singles titles, including this month’s Veneto Open on grass.

She reached the fourth round at Wimbledon in 2018, but made more headlines for kissing her then partner Greet Minnen on Court No.2. The next year they were the first same-sex couple to play doubles together at SW19.

Van Uytvanck, 28, (above) lost to Raducanu in their only other meeting in Chicago last year, 7-6 6-3. Raducanu said: “She’s a tricky opponent.”
