MY FACE-TO-FACE WITH EVIL ABUSER MAXWELL
Giuffre will speak at sentence
PRINCE Andrew’s sex accuser could come face-to-face with Ghislaine Maxwell in court today at her sentencing.
A judge ruled yesterday Virginia Giuffre, 38, can provide a victim impact statement in person when the convicted child sex trafficker learns her fate at a New York court.
Ms Giuffre, right, will say: “For me, and for so many others, you opened the door to hell. Then, like a wolf in sheep’s clothing, you used your femininity to betray us.”
Seven women applied to speak at the sentencing when Maxwell, 60, faces up to 55 years in prison.
Judge Alison Nathan ruled Giuffre, Annie Farmer and “Kate” could be in court. Written submissions will be heard from four others, who are not part of the indictment but are alleged victims of Jeffrey Epstein.
Maxwell was convicted of luring girls for the financier to abuse between 1994 and 2004.
Her lawyers had sought a delay, saying she had been placed on “suicide watch”. Despite not being part of the indictment, Ms Giuffre was mentioned during Maxwell’s trial. Andrew has strenuously denied claims she was forced to have sex with him three times by Epstein and Maxwell.
Epstein was found dead in his cell in Manhattan in 2019 while he awaited a sex trafficking trial.
